We have a special interest in buskers, more specifically in those who regularly perform in subway stations.
Why? Well, metro stations can be very good stages with proper acoustics and enthusiastic fans. They are also cradle for great musicians. In his autobiography Eric Clapton said his skills and carisma were crafted while busking in London stations when a teenager. One needs to be good in order to make people stop and give some money.
We created a pioneer and award-winning festival for buskers who make theirs livings on subway stations.
We also work for opening subway systems to buskers where they're not allowed.
It is good for musicians, commuters and cities.
